About Us

Zach & Jenn Kauffman started their farm journey in 2014. They took a leap from cozy bungalow living in Colonialtown/Orlando, to a bunker-style home, nestled in a hill, in Eustis, FL. With a handful of hens from their former backyard, they made the move to expand the flock, sell eggs to a few local restaurants, and continue with their current employers. Zach was working as a bartender in a farm-to-table-style dining restaurant in Winter Park. This sparked the initial light to get into the egg business after chef friends expressed their delight with the egg quality.

Jenn was working for a local farm closer to Eustis, growing microgreens and dreaming up ideas about the exciting potential of growing these baby sprouts into full-sized vegetables and salad greens. Very quickly, this dream became reality and they were soon growing and selling microgreens and vegetables from their own farm business.

In 2018 they purchased their current farm in Groveland and began expanding their livestock operations, gardens and high tunnels.

Our Practices

Healthy Soil, Healthy Food

We build soil health through no-till raised beds, cover crops, compost, mulch, and OMRI-certified amendments—never synthetic chemicals. The result is nutrient-dense vegetables and vibrant flowers.

Humane & Pastured Livestock

Our Berkshire and Gloucestershire Old Spot hogs, cattle, chickens, and ducks are raised outdoors on pasture, rotated frequently, and supplemented with locally milled feed and farm veggie trimmings—living as animals should.

Clean & Wholesome

All of our proteins are raised FREE of antibiotics, hormones, steroids, and pesticides, ensuring clean, flavorful food you can trust.
